Fun Day June 2016

A fun day was had by all at the Kirby Road Conservative club on Saturday 25th June 2016. A wonderful group of ladies representing eight different charities (St Elizabeth Hospice, Kenyan School Fund, Teapot Project, Cancer Research, Macmillan, Copleston FC Mental Health Charitable Trust and Suffolk Oxygen Centre) organised a day of fundraising which included a Fete, Princess and Superhero party and evening disco.
The fete had stalls to play traditional games on, cakes, crafts, face painting, BBQ and NR Exotics provided the unique experience of reptile and snake handling. The superhero party allowed children to dress up as their favourite superhero or princess; there was also a surprise visit from Superman and Elsa.
The aim of the day was to unite fundraisers from various charities and work together as a team to enhance community spirit and support charities that are helping others on a local, national and international level. We would all like to thank the generosity of local businesses who donated prizes and to all who attended the events throughout the day. We raised £2600 which will be shared equally between the charities.бизнес
